We are seeking a friendly, dynamic Veterinary Surgeon to work predominantly in our Uppermill clinic in Oldham 

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of small animal practice experience and be confident working sole charge. A client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills is a must, alongside the ability to work to a high standard. Our Uppermill clinic is a consult only practice with close links to our Mossley 24 hour hospital for surgical cases. Opportunities to perform surgery can be built into this role if candidate desired but this isn't essential.

Salary and hours

We have the opportunity to offer flexible working hours for this role, full time and part time will be considered. Weekends would be 1:3 Saturday's or 1:6 full weekends.

As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Branch:

The clinic is equipped with in house blood machine for working up medical cases. Clients are used to going to the Mossley 24 hour site for anything surgical and the hospital can be used as an extension of the practice as it is very close by.
