Join Our Team as a Part-Time Receptionist at Bray House Veterinary Practice!
Bray House Veterinary Practice is seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our friendly and dedicated team, primarily based at our Melton Mowbray branch. While this role is focused on Melton Mowbray, occasional cover may be needed at our Grantham branch, so a willingness to travel or access to your own vehicle, along with a full driving license, is essential.
Our ideal candidate and role details
As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. You'll be joining a small, close-knit team that looks after one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;
Liaising with the clients and the clinical staff to provide a high level of customer care. Meeting and greeting clients and pets. Booking appointments and diary management. Managing telephone and email enquiries. Taking payment for services and products. Managing cash and end-of-day banking. Dispensing medication. Maintaining a clean and safe space for our clients and their pets.
About the rota
This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week, 3 x 8-hour shift. You will be working between 8:30am-7:00pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm. There may also be opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays and busy periods.
