Exciting Opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon in Hertfordshire
An independent small animal practice in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, seeks a dedicated and experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.
Location: The practice is situated in the scenic countryside just outside Hemel Hempstead, near the London border. Ample staff and client parking is available.
The Practice: This purpose-built, independent practice prides itself on providing top-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Offering both mobile and in-house services, they aim to make veterinary care as stress-free as possible for clients and their pets.
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week over 4-5 days, with 1 in 3 Saturdays required
Shifts: Hours fall between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM, with flexibility for the right candidate
OOHS: No out-of-hours work and no bank holiday shifts
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be confident working in sole charge, handling consultations, and performing surgeries
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to drive in the UK (a company car is optional and open for discussion)
Salary: This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £80,000 per year, reflecting experience.
