Veterinary Surgeon – Diverse Caseload, Certificate Support – Up to £60K DOE
A well-established, well-equipped practice near Birmingham is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role offers diverse clinical exposure, certificate funding, and a balanced rota, making it an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role:
- Full-time preferred, but part-time considered
- Up to £60,000 DOE (FTE)
- Opportunity to develop a surgical or medical bias
- 1 in 3 Saturday rota (9am-2pm), no OOH
The Practice:
This locally run practice combines the benefits of a modern, well-equipped environment with the feel of an independent practice. You’ll have access to digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house lab facilities, and a caseload that will help you develop your clinical expertise. The practice already has a surgery certificate holder and a vet pursuing a feline internal medicine certificate, with full support for further study.
Located close to Birmingham city centre with excellent transport links, the practice also benefits from easy access to countryside escapes, offering a great work-life balance.
What’s on Offer?
- Full funding for certificates and further development
- Memberships paid: BVA, BSAVA, ISFM & RCVS
- Staff discounts and rewards package
- A welcoming and collaborative working environment
This role would suit a vet who has already completed their Vet GDP, who enjoys variety and is keen to continue developing their skills, though all experience levels are welcome to apply.
