Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Banbury

  • A strong support team, including a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Coordinator to assist with administrative and referral tasks.

About the Team: 19 experienced vets, including senior-level professionals providing leadership and mentoring. A robust nursing team of 26, including RVNs, SVNs, and clinical leads, all working collaboratively.

Experience Required: 1-3 years as a Small Animal Vet

Hours: Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, weekend-only roles, annualised hours, or branch-only work, they can tailor a schedule that suits your needs.

Flexible Working Patterns:

  • Choose from a variety of options, including 4-day workweeks (8 am - 6:30 pm), sole charge branch roles, or a mix of consults, surgery, and hospital shifts.
  • Participation in Out of Hours is optional, with a typical rota of 1:6 weekends and occasional nights, balanced with time off in lieu.

Your Skills & Responsibilities:

  • A confident and proactive vet with at least one year of UK experience.
  • Comfortable with formulating and executing clinical plans for a varied caseload, supported by a loyal client base.
  • An eagerness to grow in your area of interest—whether that’s surgery, medicine, or another specialty—backed by a structured career pathway and mentoring.
  • A valid UK driving license and your own transport for travel between locations.
