Located less than 30mins from Brighton and surrounded by stunning country side, this independent practice is hiring for growth.  This is a nine vet, nine nurse practice, a place large enough to have all the up to facilities but small enough to have that village, community feel.

This practice has a real ‘family feel,’ about it where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time.  A strong team that wants the best for patients and practice.   Without the shackles of a large vet group, decisions can be made quickly and ideas are encouraged.     

Ideally, they are looking for a vet with over two years of experience who is kind and empathetic, a real team player.  

You will be getting stuck in right from the start.  Don’t be surprised one minute if you are calving a cow, blood testing a penguin and then having a cup of tea with an old lady and her dog.   If you want variety this practice has it in spades! 

They are  flexible looking for someone ideally on a four day week but happy to discuss options. 1 in 8 weekends OOH’s. They take pride in providing their own OOH service with their own vets in their own premises. Why would they want to let somebody else look after their precious patients?

They are looking to provide the right person with a long-term career opportunity to grow the Practice with them and are offering £50k-£65k DOE, health cover, VDS, BVA, and RCVS fees paid for as well as a pension plan. They are keen on developing and investing in you. Because it’s mutually beneficial so a generous CPD allowance will take care of that, they do some of their own inhouse CPD as well.

With the South Downs, Sussex Weald, and Ashdown  Forest on your doorstep, a 40 min drive to Gatwick, the trendy seaside city of Brighton with its numerous bars and restaurants less than 30 mins away,  what’s not to like?

Choosing a new practice is a big decision. You’re a good vet who cares. Most importantly you want somewhere you can build a future, learn, grow, and have a place you can call home.
