Fully Independent, fully flexible practice hiring now in Outer Birmingham….
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon – Looking for a change? Apply today!
Salary £45 – 65k per annum, DOE, FTE.
This independent practice understands that being a Vet can be hard work, with demanding hours and that is why they offer a flexible approach to the days you work, as well as no out-of-hours work.
They know that sometimes you want fewer hours, maybe more hours, or simply a different landscape, to give you a better work-life balance, in order to continue in the career you love.
When we say this practice is flexible, we mean it – obviously within reason!
Maybe you need to work one day per week or four – this independent practice understands that work must fit within your life commitments, therefore part-time or full-time hours are available.
For this practice, it’s all about the right attitude and being a team player. Yes of course you need the necessary skill set and qualifications, but the rest can be discussed.
Whether you are a new graduate or a seasoned Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon we want to hear from you, as experience is great, and we know you have the necessary skills required to add to the growing team, but with a very supportive environment to learn and grow, all new graduates are encouraged to apply also.

The working environment created by this team is that of a positive, encouraging, and nurturing one, where each individual offers support, mentoring, case discussions, and advice where necessary. A very collaborative approach, where all opinions matter and are considered.
Why are they recruiting? Well, this vacancy has become apparent through sheer growth and demand on a practice that has seen significant growth and popularity. Fully independent, and proud to be. They have maintained and developed their reputation within the local marketplace, well over the years.
You should be happy with a strong mixture of consults and surgeries, that you can follow from start to finish. Clinical freedom is encouraged.
Most importantly, you want to develop, you want to be part of a team working together towards a shared goal. You want to use the skills you have and develop the ones you are less experienced in; you want to progress.
Located on the outskirts of Birmingham, there really is a great network of commuter links, shops galore, and activities on the doorstep of all varieties, and places to visit for everyone of all interests. A great place to be based.

Company
VetFinders is a recruitment business with a social mission at its heart. We are more than a recruitment business whose only aim is to make a profit, this isn’t us! We aim to make a profit of course we do but we work with a number of charities giving back to the industry we love. Giving is at the heart of our business, we work with the local college Askham Bryan sponsoring two nurse students through their studies, have worked with Street Vet advertising their roles for free, donate to a local charity helping disabled and life limiting children with animal therapy and work with Blue Cross. When we place candidates in a new role we donate enough to pay for a Blue Cross nurse for the day. ‘A dream job for you, a Blue Cross Nurse paid for too.
