Job Details
Leamington Spa Vets4Pets are looking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.
Practice Owners Cristina and Leah bought the practice just over a year ago and together also own a practice in Coventry. Cristina is the Practice Manager, running the practice day to day and Leah is a qualified RVN who leads the nursing team. Together they have built a great team who provide outstanding pet healthcare to their clients in Leamington Spa.
The practice is based on a retail park inside a busy pets at home store. Leamington Spa is a picturesque town in Warwickshire known for its regency architecture, beautiful gardens and historic spa baths. It is also located near popular attractions such as Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace.
You'll be working in a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery, built to industry-leading standards. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house blood machines, ensuring you have the best tools at your disposal to provide top-quality care.
We are looking for a confident veterinary surgeon with good routine surgery and medical skills. We can consider newly qualified/graduate vets providing lots of opportunity to learn and support from more experienced Vets within the team. The team consists of 2 vets, 6 nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 Receptionists and Practice Manager. The Head vet has over 5+years' experience with strong surgical experience and is also a Vet GDP Advisor.
We can consider full or part time hours including 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm). No sole charge or OOHs. We can be flexible on shifts and rotation to allow for a great work life balance.
