Veterinary Surgeon - Full-Time, Independent Small Animal Practice
Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a new opportunity in a friendly and supportive environment? An experienced Independent Veterinary Practice are expanding and are excited to welcome two small animal vets to a growing team!

- Supportive Team: Work alongside a fantastic mix of experienced and recently qualified vets. That have a collaborative culture where they support each other every day.
- Exciting Caseload: They handle a varied medical and surgical caseload with advanced facilities, including: 7 consultation rooms, 2 operating theatres, a dental suite with dental x-ray, new ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, stance analyser, and more!
- Own OOH Cover: The team provides its own out-of-hours cover, allowing you to experience rewarding emergency cases. The OOH rota is equally shared between 8 vets, with a 'back-up' rota ensuring senior support is always available.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy 15-minute consultation slots with breaks for admin or coffee. You’ll also benefit from generous time off in lieu for any out-of-hours shifts worked.
- Continued Learning: Actively encourage CPD and further education, supporting the vets in achieving certificates and diplomas. You’ll be joining a team that already includes 5 certificate holders and 1 diploma holder.

- Competitive salary starting from £37,722 (for new graduates) and rising with experience

About You:
Looking for 2 Veterinary Surgeons with at least 2 years of experience (or completion of your vetGDP portfolio). You’ll be a caring, team-oriented individual, ready to join a supportive environment where you can thrive professionally and personally.
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Ability to deliver high-quality care to patients and clients
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
- Commitment to maintaining progressive clinical standards and fostering a positive work culture
