Three Rivers Vet Group are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a permanent basis to work within our 5-site group. We can offer a variety of exciting and fulfilling roles to suit the right candidate’s needs. Generally, our vets work a split of operating/consulting at our main practice and across our 4 other branches, this offers opportunities to gain support in surgery and evolve your skills. However, if you prefer working with a smaller team or consulting only roles, we can offer an adapted position at one of our branch practices.
About the rota
This position could be either full time 38 hours a week over 4 days or part time. Our Vets also cover 1:5 Saturday mornings with either a day off the following week in lieu or the hours can be factored into your weekly hours if preferred. No nights or on call. Our weekly vet rota includes daily admin time and regular scheduled breaks. We try very hard to ensure everyone gets their well-deserved lunch break.

Our support team consists of exceptional receptionists, admin, and maintenance/cleaning staff along with our Practice Director who is continually working alongside our Clinical Directors to improve the practice for both patients, clients, and staff. More importantly than this though are the team of staff pets that accompany their owners to work as we have a well utilised bring your dog to work scheme with staff specific kennelling.
Certificates are fully supported and funded. We have a well-established new graduate support system with clinical coaches, mentors, and Vet GDP advisors. We like to support our vets and encourage them to follow areas of interest.
