Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity - Full-Time Position

Join our dynamic team as a Veterinary Surgeon in our busy, independent small animal practice. We’re looking for an experienced vet to complement our dedicated staff and help us continue providing exceptional care to our beloved patients.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 4-day week with 1:6 weekends
  • Locations: Primarily at our main practice, with occasional days at our nearby sister branch
  • Caseload: Varied and interesting, ensuring no two days are the same

About Us:

Our practices have been recently renovated to enhance the experience for both clients and staff. Our main branch boasts modern facilities, including multiple consultation rooms, a spacious prep area, separate dog and cat kennel areas, a theatre, and a comfortable staff room.

Our welcoming team includes two vets, two RVNs, an SVN, several PCAs, two CCAs, and a practice cat. We pride ourselves on high clinical standards, collaboration, and a friendly atmosphere. We are supported by a local hospital for advanced procedures and overnight care.

  • Someone who is keen to support our SVNs and PCAs
  • A professional committed to delivering exceptional care to patients and clients

Your Role:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care and consultations
  • Provide clear and compassionate updates to clients
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory and practice compliance
  • Prepare accurate treatment plans with clear cost estimates
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Support clinical handovers and patient transfers

Skills and Experience:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Proven track record of exceptional patient and client care
  • Strong teamwork and clinical leadership skills
  • Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture
  • Proficient in coaching and influencing colleagues
