OOH Small Animal Vet - 7 Nights on/14 Nights off

OOH SMALL ANIMAL VET NORTH YORKSHIRE

Bishopton Vets is an independently-owned and progressive veterinary practice which has been serving the local community for over 80 years.

We are seeking an OOH Small Animal Vet to join our dedicated OOH team. This role is based at our RCVS accredited Hospital in Ripon, and we have four additional small animal surgeries in Thirsk, Northallerton, Easingwold and Pateley Bridge.

Working Pattern

• Shift: 7 nights on (6pm – 8.30am), Monday to Sunday
• Rest: 14 days off
• Salary up to £65,000 dependent upon experience
• Full-time or part-time applications welcome

We have an amazing team of 16 FTE vets with a wealth of experience, including Advanced Practitioners in medicine, surgery and general practice. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, video endoscopy, laparoscopic kit (including diathermy), fully integrated internal lab facilities, visiting ophthalmologist, visiting CT scanner and separate dog, cat and isolation facilities. Our large team of experienced RVNs and dedicated support staff share our passion for delivering high standards of veterinary care to our patients.

We also work in collaboration with three local external veterinary practices providing their out of hours provision.

As a practice we strive to combine the provision of exceptional, personalised care with progressive current best practice in veterinary medicine. Our Clinical Club, Unexpected Outcomes, Journal & Vet meetings are a great way to discuss cases and share ideas, and we hold additional in-house CPD training sessions to continually improve and advance our standards.

We encourage and support our team members to gain additional qualifications. Certificates are highly encouraged, as our clients appreciate the increased expertise we can offer.
