GVC are providing recruitment support to a large Small Animal Veterinary Group based in London and Surrounding areas who are actively recruiting for an Regional Manager to support the growth and efficient operations of its surgeries in the West London region.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive performance within veterinary support teams.

Candidates should possess experience in effectively managing veterinary support teams (receptionists and nurses), demonstrating openness to new ideas and guidance, while also implementing innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of their dynamic surgeries. With substantial support from a Group Operations Manager and the Directors, the role offers ample opportunities for personal achievement and career advancement. A strong work ethic, stamina, flexibility, and a drive for success are essential attributes for this position.

Candidates with a clinical background in veterinary management are preferred, although experienced former Head Nurses or Practice Managers are also encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the surgeries, implementing effective strategies to enhance efficiency, and ensuring the highest standard of care for pets.

  • Candidates must have a Diploma of Higher Education
  • A minimum of one year of Veterinary management experience, and at least three years of clinical experience in the veterinary field.
  • A driving license is required, and RVN status is preferred.
  • The successful candidate must be able to reliably commute to Hertfordshire area, or be willing to relocate.
