Veterinarian, Bundaberg, Queensland. $120-$200k per annum.

Does the thought of moving overseas to a tropical location excite you? Are you longing for endless sunny days and a warm climate, with the perfect work-life balance to actually enjoy your new surrounds?

What if we told you there was a modern, accredited animal hospital of excellence in beautiful Queensland, Australia, with all the modern kit, a large team of experienced vets and nurses and a culture that prioritises collaboration, fun in the workplace as well as professional development?

This is no fantasy, located in beautiful Bundaberg Queensland, this hospital is 1 of only 4 ASAV accredited Hospitals of Excellence in the entire state and has a reputation for not only their high standards of patient care but their leadership and commitment to team growth and development.

Growing rapidly, they are looking to add another veterinarian to their team to assist with their ECC caseload, and this dream role could be yours!

Attached to a large GP clinic, they take referrals from all local clinics for ECC cases, being the only emergency clinic within a 3+ hour radius, providing an exciting and varied caseload.

This is very much a team setting, it's a community of passionate like-minded individuals who work together discussing cases and collaborating to get the best patient outcomes possible.

You will have all the support and tools needed to provide the best care to your patients, including a team of qualified and highly trained veterinary technicians assisting with all cases from initial triage to discharge and everything in between.

One of the most exciting elements of this position is the flexibility available, with the option of solely emergency work or a mix of emergency and GP for those wanting variety or perhaps just wishing to test the ECC waters.

So, what’s in it for you?  The vets who work here are known as ‘Australia’s best paid Veterinarians.’  That’s why they can offer you $120-$200k per annum.

Also on offer is a comprehensive CPD allowance, insurance, all fees paid for, paid study leave plus help with visas and temporary accommodation on arrival. There is up to $10,000 in relocation assistance available also.

Bundaberg offers one of the most sought-after climates in the world, with the Great Barrier Reef on their doorstep, they offer the perfect mix of regional, coastal, and affordable places to live but still with all the amenities you need. This can be a role built around your lifestyle.

So, what’s next?

Well, we can’t get the whole story in a job ad unfortunately,  so please send us your CV – don’t worry if it’s not up to date, along with any questions, and we’ll answer honestly, no hard sell. Let us get to know you, we can tell you a little more about us, and see if it might be a good fit!

VetFinders is a recruitment business with a social mission at its heart. We are more than a recruitment business whose only aim is to make a profit, this isn’t us! We aim to make a profit of course we do but we work with a number of charities  giving back to the industry we love. Giving is at the heart of our business, we work with the local college Askham Bryan sponsoring two nurse students through their studies, have worked  with Street Vet advertising their roles for free, donate to a local charity helping disabled and life limiting children with animal therapy and work with Blue Cross. When we place candidates in a new role we donate enough to pay for a Blue Cross nurse for the day. ‘A dream job for you, a Blue Cross Nurse paid for too.
