Veterinary Surgeon
Contract Type
Full-time, Part-time

Located on the Isle of Skye where island life is combined with a link to the mainland Scottish highlands and beyond. The location would suit someone with outdoors interests in cycling, walking and for the brave outdoor sea swimming.

If that is not your scene then the Island has a strong arts scene involving folk music, cinema and theatre.

The Practice has a main base in a central location on the island with a small satellite clinic on the mainland. We aim to provide medicine tailored towards the needs of our patients and clients while developing good relationships with a stable loyal client base.

The weekend OOH is shared with a neighbouring Practice.

This is a mixed Vet role in General Practice, permanent, full time or part-time applicants will be considered. Some experience would be required along with new ideas to enable the Practice to grow.

Support is provided by all our team members who are incredibly dedicated and pride themselves on providing excellent care for our patients.

The caseload is varied, but predominantly small animal, with a small amount of sheep and beef work.

Clinical freedom is provided and despite our small size we are well equipped with digital radiography, BP monitoring, Ultrasound (linear and curvilinear probe), In house biochemistry and haematology analysers, pulse oximeter, etc.

The Practice has good relationships with referral Practices.
