Veterinary Nurse - Evolution Animal Care, Thorne, South Yorkshire.

A new opportunity has arisen for an RVN to join our expanding team of 8 RVN's, including 2 certificate holders, and 5 vets, including one certificate holder.

Our Nurses are involved in every aspect of the practice , including :

• Conducting extensive nurse consults
• Assisting the vets in their consults and theatre
• Managing stock
• Training future RVN's
• Completing Sch 3 procedures (in-house and external training can be provided)
• Performing many lab tests including ear and urine cytology
• Heavy involvement in all dental procedures.

Full Time is a 40 hour week, based on a 4 day week between the hours of 7.45am and 7.30pm, and 1 in 7 Saturday mornings until 12.45pm. There are no OOH. Our rota aims to provide a good work-life balance and variety within your working day. We are a very close team and take mental wellbeing seriously. We currently have 2 Mental Health Wellbeing champions in practice who are always available.

We have a variety of equipment to ensure the best care for our patients, including Bair Huggers, multi-parameter monitors, Doppler blood pressure machines and digital x-rays for both general x-rays and dental radiography.

Thorne is a small market town, surrounded by South Yorkshire countryside and lovely villages. It is rail connected for travel to Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds and under 90mins drive to the Peak District or East Yorkshire Coast.
