Alnorthumbria (Ponteland)

Are you a Small Animal Vet looking for a new adventure?

Want to work in a practice with an enthusiastic and driven team, who care and look out for each other…and regularly socialise!

Looking to work in a brand new purpose build practice opened in 2023? Then look no further!

We can offer you a salary up to £60k DOE. Relocation allowance of up to £5k available! Visa costs fully supported (Must be eligible to register with RCVS) + Benefits!

Worry about certificate costs with current employer? We have this covered for you!

Due to us growing, our experienced Alnorthumbria team are looking for their next Vet to join us at our Ponteland branch!

New graduate Vets as well as experienced Vets are welcome to apply. We have CPD and excellent benefits package on offer. Flexible on part or full time options or if you would like consult only role with no OOH? This can be considered - tell us what works for you!

You will enjoy working in the beautiful Northumberland that is blessed with beautiful beaches and hills. Full of history (over 70 castles, a few currently occupied by film crews), not far from the buzzing Newcastle city centre and plenty of outdoor pursuits (including surfing!!).

We are an amazing and supportive team of 2/3 Vets, 2 RVNs, PCA and 2 Receptionist. We are a genuinely progressive practice with a varied and interesting caseload, whether medicine, surgery or ECC is your thing you will find it here! Further qualifications are encouraged and there are plenty of toys to allow for good work-ups.

We have a variety of branches to work from and are able to offer a working life to suit individuals rather than ‘one size fits all'. We do offer orthopaedics referrals.

We know that benefits are key, and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others. Holidays, pensions, discounts, paternal leave, fee payments or share save schemes might be your priority. Flexible working is essential for others, and we are very open to finding a creative working pattern that suits. For clinical staff, CPD is probably critical. Just so you know we offer a wide range of amazing CPD – you'll have access to Knowledge Hub, the best online veterinary learning resource within the industry - and we also offer an allowance to spend on external courses too. If you'd like to learn more, do feel free to contact the recruiter managing this campaign and ask them to talk you through our offerings. Or, if easier, you can find a list on our careers site CVS Employee Benefits- what we can offer you. (cvsukltd.co.uk)
