The Practice

We are an Independent, RCVS Accredited small animal surgery with a reputation for outstanding clinical work and superior client care seeking an experienced and enthusiastic vet to join our growing practice.  The practice is situated in leafy Banstead, Surrey – a short distance from London to the North and Brighton to the South. Great outdoor opportunities – hiking, horse riding, water sports, cycling – and with time to pursue a hobby!

The successful candidate will join an excellent team of staff including an Internal Medicine specialist (ACVIM), surgery certificate holders, general practitioners and experienced RVNs, working in modern well-equipped facilities achieving high clinical standards.  Digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, in-house lab, isolation ward, separate cat and dog waiting areas, consult rooms, prep rooms, theatres and wards – try not to get lost!

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated vet who works well as part of a team.  Excellent communication skills are essential.  Ideally the candidate would have sufficient experience to be confident when consulting or performing basic soft-tissue surgery.

If you are a progressive first opinion vet who is looking to challenge yourself and pursue further qualifications in a supportive environment with superb facilities, this is the job for you.   Applicants who already hold certificates who would like an opportunity to put their advanced knowledge and skills to work are also encouraged to apply.

Company

VetFinders is a recruitment business with a social mission at its heart. We are more than a recruitment business whose only aim is to make a profit, this isn’t us! We aim to make a profit of course we do but we work with a number of charities  giving back to the industry we love. Giving is at the heart of our business, we work with the local college Askham Bryan sponsoring two nurse students through their studies, have worked  with Street Vet advertising their roles for free, donate to a local charity helping disabled and life limiting children with animal therapy and work with Blue Cross. When we place candidates in a new role we donate enough to pay for a Blue Cross nurse for the day. ‘A dream job for you, a Blue Cross Nurse paid for too.
