Would you like to work part-time hours while taking home a full-time salary?

At Vets4Pets Lisburn Longstone we are looking for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon who is comfortable with sole charge work to enter a week on week off rota running Wednesday to Wednesday.

Your week will begin on Wednesday afternoon, working all day on Thursday and Friday, Saturday from 9am until 1pm and then Monday and Tuesday from 9am-7pm, finishing the week with a half day on Wednesday. This will include a full handover to your colleague to discuss cases before your week off, who will in turn then do the same the following week. We are also happy to consider any other rota. This is a busy, challenging and rewarding role which is reflected in the generous remuneration package and downtime available.

We are a purpose built, standalone practice and pride ourselves on being part of our local community on Longstone Street in Lisburn. We have all of the usual equipment you would expect, there is no OOH or Sunday work. Our JVP has a strong interest in behaviour and as a result we committed providing cat friendly and fear free vet trips and hope to find someone who is willing to embrace this ethos too.

Lisburn is 10mins from Belfast, and half an hour from the beach or the mountains, so whatever your passions are you should have the time and the opportunity to pursue them in this new role!
