This growing independent hospital is seeking a OOHs registered veterinary nurse to join them and their experienced team. With a salary of up to £34,000 and career progression opportunities!

State-of-the-art independent hospital in Chichester is growing their dynamic and experienced team and are looking for a new OOHs nurse to join them in providing the highest level of care to each patient.

The practice itself is equipped with all of the facilities needed including orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical equipment, cutting edge anaesthetic monitoring devices, a modern theatre suite, endoscopy with video, digital x-ray and much more. The team is made up advanced practitioners, visiting specialists and certificate holders all at the top of their game and their to support.

This progressive practice believes in offering progression to all of its Nurses and has supported many of them through certificates. This allows each nurse to get the most out of their position and develop their nursing skills within a supportive and experienced environment.

Key Duties

Working alongside the experienced ECC vets, the main responsibilities of this role would be dealing with emergencies and inpatient care. You will be using all of your skills as a registered veterinary nurse to provide the highest level of care to patients at the hospital and will be assisting with emergency care, surgery and anaesthetics.

This position would be suported by the Twilight RVNs meaning you will rarely be working sole charge and there are always nurses on-call if you should need it. Full time hours for this position would average at 36.5 hours per week.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Registered on the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally applicants will have ECC experience but not necessary
  • Qualified as an RVN for a minimum of 1 year
