Veterinary Surgeon required at Kirks Vets, Sleaford

The Role

We are a first opinion small animal practice and are looking for a vet to join our fun, supportive and experienced team. We are looking for someone to consult and undertake surgeries but are completely open to different ways of working – we currently have a vet who runs vaccination clinics for us part time.

We are currently open between 0800 and 1900 five days a week, plus Saturday mornings. We can offer complete flexibility, and can build the job around you, not the other way around. We currently have a vet working 3 x 6 hour shifts every other week. We want to make it work for you. Our team’s happiness and wellbeing are our driving force.

We split between consulting and surgeries but are genuinely flexible in how this works – you tell us.

Our biggest USPs are our flexibility and our awesome nursing team. We factor in good consulting time and regular built-in breaks.

Salary for the role is up to £65,000 depending on experience + Relocation allowance up to £5,000 if required.

About Us

Sleaford is a pretty market town in beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, but with all the advantages of great transport connections. About our team

We have a certificate holder in cardiology and receive referrals from the surrounding area for this. One of our other vets is currently studying towards her certificate in ophthalmology. Our nursing team is one of our biggest assets. They are incredibly experienced (one has a surgical certificate too) with many years of general practice experience.
