Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Waverley Vets, Godalming

The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Waverley Vets, Godalming. We love to get involved with all aspects of the veterinary surgery, from dealing with patients to answering the telephone.

You will have a dedicated main operating nurse day, with an additional second ops nurse duty on another day. The main nurse ops day involves placing catheters, taking blood, running the bloods, getting the theatre set up for surgery, organising the day ahead and then making sure everything is cleaned and sorted after surgery has finished.

The working week is 37.5 hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8.30 - 6.30pm, Thursday as a day off. This can be discussed and is flexible. 1:4 Saturday mornings 8.30 - 12.30pm.

You will receive 1 hour’s unpaid lunch break on 3 days and half an hour on 1 day. The rota stays the same week after week, which makes it so much nicer for planning life! No out of hours. On the very odd occasion, holiday cover may be required at our nearby branch in Chiddingfold, Woodside Veterinary Clinic.

Salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience.
