About us:
- Friendly team of 9 vets with multiple certificate holders or working towards certificate
- Fantastic highly capable nursing team with 14 RVNs and 5 SVNs, comfortable with schedule 3 procedures, run a variety of nurse-led clinics including weight clinics, diabetic clinics and geriatric clinics
- Monthly vet meetings to share CPD, discuss interesting cases, and input into improvements to the practice
- Monthly Journal Club
- Passionate about QI – regular clinical audits leading to improved ways of working
- Support from a visiting orthopaedic and imaging advanced practitioner, and weekly ophthalmology clinic with a certificate holder
- 15 minute consults in 1.5-2 hour blocks, with ring-fenced on-the-day appointments and regular gaps provided, including 30 minutes paid ‘wrapping up' time after the last appointment
- Focus on work-life balance – 4 days a week, 1 Saturday in 4 with a day back in lieu the following week, no OOH, TOIL system for the rare times we get caught late
- Well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, dental x-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, in-house lab with dedicated lab technician
About you:
- Four plus years qualified, looking to move into the next stage of your career
- Enjoys teaching and mentoring
- Interested in exploring a role in leadership and management
- Enjoys working as part of a friendly collaborative team
- Vet GDP adviser or willing to become one
- Ideally looking for a full time role but scope for flexibility for the right candidate
