Our busy small animal practice based in Bagshot, Surrey is seeking an experienced Student Nurse or Veterinary Nurse on a full-time basis to join our team!

The Practice:
We are a small team looking to welcome a new Veterinary nurse to our family orientated and friendly team.

We are in a prime location with good transport links; close to the M3 and train station. We have a large on-site car park with free parking. Our modern surgery has state of the art equipment, including digital x-ray and brand new multiparameters, ultrasound and VGels. Our excellent facilities allow our clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus on high clinical standards.

Our training practice has a nursing team of one Senior Vet Nurse, one Student Veterinary Nurse and one VCA. Which are supported by a team of Three Veterinary Surgeons, Receptionists, and a Practice Manager.

The Role:
First opinion nurse duties to include monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, assisting with procedures. We have visiting orthopaedic specialist so there is opportunity to assist with these cases. We encourage nurse clinics and schedule 3 is actively encouraged.

There will be no OOHs or on-call duties, a Weekend rota will be included that is shared between the team which works out as 1 in 3 weekends.

The Candidate:
We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude. You must be able to work well independently, as well as part of a team within our busy practice. We are looking for somebody who has excellent communication skills, who is keen to deliver clinical excellence.
