Small Animal Vet - Early Stages or Experienced

Small Animal Vet, Crab Lane Vets, Harrogate, North Yorkshire

• Full time vet needed for independent single site practice, helpful colleagues and a lovely place to live.
• 4-day week with one early finish and 1 day off midweek – same days each week to allow for planning a life outside of work. One weekend in 4 (routine surgeries only), 15-minute appointments, no on call.
• Busy enough to be interesting, not too busy to get frazzled & we would like to stay fully staffed to keep it that way.
• Finishing late is rare, lunch gets eaten.
• RCVS PSS accreditation.
• RVCS VDS BVA BSAVA ISFM memberships paid for.
• Case continuity encouraged.
• Clinical freedom with the support from experienced colleagues with a range of expertise (2 Advanced Practitioners).
• Well equipped.
• Diagnostic efforts encouraged and expected.
• Qualified experienced & helpful nurses to assist.

We would anticipate employing a vet who enjoys a mix of consulting & operating work and although we would welcome applications from experienced vets. The level of experience within the practice means that we could provide backup for a vet in the earlier stages of their career. You will spend your time being the clinician you trained to be and not be expected to spend your time selling health plans. We have good levels of staff retention and a long-standing client base.
