Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists are on the hunt for a board certified or residency trained ECC clinician. We are looking for a colleague to join our ECC team who has the right combination of strong work ethic combined with a sense of humour and open-minded approach to join our excellent team.

Lumbry Park is a multi-disciplinary small animal referral hospital with the ECC team still in the relatively early stages of its establishment. This gives the right applicant the opportunity to join a progressive team and influence the direction of the service development. Our hospital team work truly collaboratively, and we are proud to have established a culture in which we genuinely look out for each other. Work life balance is highly valued and in exchange for committed hard work in clinic time, generous time off is afforded.

We have a newly finished ICU unit ready for the right team to utilise it to the best of their ability alongside all the typical referral hospital ‘toys'. We have a team of friendly, enthusiastic and knowledge hungry nurses, an expanding rotating internship programme and strong residency programmes in many specialties. This base encourages continuous ongoing learning and the practice of evidence-based medicine with book clubs, journal clubs and case-based teaching being a regular daily occurrence. There is opportunity for clinical research for those interested in pursuing this aspect of career development and teaching opportunities via the University of Surrey veterinary medicine degree collaboration if this is of interest.

Further career progression is supported through a generous CPD allowance and associated time off. CVS offers a wealth of internal CPD courses in a wide range of topics, not necessarily always focussing on clinical work for those looking to diversify their skill set.

Lumbry Park is situated on the edge of the beautiful South Downs with ample opportunity for outdoor activities and plenty of cosy Hampshire pubs to explore. For the bibliophiles, Jane Austen's house is just 5 minutes away! We are 40 minutes from the south coast and less than an hour from London with easy access to several major airports making our location excellent in so many respects.
