The Practice:

GVC are providing recruitment support to an Independent, Small Animal Veterinary First Opinion Practice based in Berkshire who are actively recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse join their team.

This independent, training, small animal first opinion practice are looking for an RVN to join their enthusiastic, friendly and supportive clinical team. Working alongside 6 Vets, 5 RVN’s, and support staff you will have a great working environment to enjoy everyday. This practice pride themselves on their great team to not only provide outstanding care for their clients but also pride themselves on their staff ethos. All interests will be encouraged! Recently refurbished with the most up to date facilities and equipment you will be involved in all aspects of nursing to really utilise your nursing skills and become a key team member to this great independent practice.

This practice has all the most advanced equipment you would expect in a purpose-built surgery which has been updated as they continue to grow and expand their team and caseload.

 

Details of the role:

  • Role type: Permanent
  • Rota Hours: Full time  
  • Shifts: Either 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm
  • Salary: Up to £30,000
  • 1:5 Saturdays (9am-12pm)
  • No Sundays, OOH or On-Call
  • This practice does provide their own OOH, however does have a dedicated team for this.
  • Clinical Coach is desirable and training will be provided
  • One site practice
  • 28 days holiday + birthday off

Applicant requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the advertised position should your application not meet the employer requirements.

 

  • Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university in the country of the advertised position.
  • Up to date CPD
  • Relevant language skills.
  • Licenced to provide veterinary care in the relevant country.
  • Any other relevant requirements for the job.
