Macqueen Vets is a 1 st opinion small animal practice in Devizes, Wiltshire, that has been established for over 20 years. The practice has an excellent reputation, not only having achieved RCVS Tier 3 SA Hospital status but having also been the first practice in the UK to gain five ‘Outstanding’ RCVS awards for patient-care, consultation, team-work, client service and diagnostics. There are multiple Certificate Holders within the team, who carry out Orthopaedic & Ophthalmology referrals in house. The attractive site is well-equipped and houses a CT Scanner.

Small Animal Vet – Macqueen Veterinary Centre, Wiltshire

We have an exciting opportunity available for a new Small Animal Vet to join our team at Macqueen Vets in Devizes, Wiltshire.

We are an RCVS Approved Hospital with 5 Outstanding Awards and ICC Gold Cat-Friendly status and are also working towards several further accreditations. We have on-site CT scanning, laparoscopy and full Hospital equipment.

You will be part of a friendly team of 7 vets and 29 qualified nurses, many with additional qualifications and skills. Our nursing and reception team are experienced, friendly and supportive. We have been a respected Orthopaedic referral practice for 30 years and now offer soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and ophthalmology referrals.

We cover our own 24-hour emergency service in-house, as we believe that this is in the pets' and clients' best interests and allows us to provide continuity of best care. Your normal full time working week is 4 days (36 hrs) with one night duty and one weekend in 4. We can also discuss part time options if this is preferred.
