Our Independent, Small Animal practice is currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team of two vets and six nurses. We offer an even mixture of consults and surgery, with great facilities and equipment including DR radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, idexx machine and much more.
The successful candidate will work four days per week from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, with one long ops day per week. There are no OOHs, and we offer a weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm, with time in lieu given for weekend work.
Consultations are scheduled for 15 minutes, and we provide dedicated time for administration post-consults. We never have a full day of consultations, allowing for a good clinical mix to keep you on your toes. We also keep a lot of cases in-house rather than referring to other services meaning you will have plenty of opportunities to further sharpen your skills.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, be confident in all aspects of first opinion practice, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills however, less exceptional vets with less experience may also be considered for the role.

- Single site, independent practice

- No OOHs
- 1 in 4 Saturdays
