We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join well established, busy, small animal practice based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Our welcoming, friendly colleagues at Dunstable are led by Dominic Stevens who is a very experienced vet and the practice owner. The practice is not only long standing but some of the staff have worked together for 20 years! This has led to our colleagues developing a nurturing and relaxed workplace which truly puts an emphasis on excellent work-life balance.
You would be surrounded by a supportive team made up of a very experienced Practice manager, 3 Qualified RVNs, a SVN, a VCAs and of course Dominic and his Vet team. Our colleagues believe in encouraging peoples interests so if you do have a particular Certificate you would want to work toward Dominic is happy to support you with this.
The practice itself is modern, air-conditioned practice is purpose built to industry leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in house blood machines, 3 air-conditioned consult rooms and dedicated theatre.
There is plenty of onsite parking and we are very close to the A5 and M1 and ideally located just 15 minutes from Luton Airport and train station. Leagrave train station is also just 10 minutes away with direct train links into central London in under 30 minutes. This offers excellent commuting routes for someone that wants to have all the benefits of living in London with out being caught up in the hustle and bustle of city life!
About you:
We're looking for a confident Vet both in your clinical and communication skills with solid experience gained in first opinion practice. This is a unique opportunity as it offers a real opportunity for develop and progress within your career, so if you have ever considered owning your practice Dominic all our colleagues at Dunstable can help you.
Ideally, we're looking for a full-time vet to join us but we also appreciate you may not be looking for the same, so we'd still love to hear from you if you're interested in the role but are looking for a bit more flexibility!
