Registered Veterinary Nurse | Independent Practice | Modern Practice

The Practice:

GVC are working on an exclusive recruitment assignment and are managing the full recruitment process for an independently owned veterinary practice based on the outskirts of Plymouth. There is an exciting opportunity for two Registered Veterinary Nurse’s to join the team on either a full or part time basis.

The independently owned practice is modern, full of natural light, spacious and beautifully maintained. The building was completed in 2018 and has been purposely well laid out to help with efficiency. There is a good digital x-ray system, ultrasound, in-house lab, multi-parameters patient monitoring, separate cat and dog waiting areas, 3 dog consult rooms, 2 cat consult rooms and wards, dental room and treatment area, along with a large airy theatre.

Details of the role:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (x1 Full-Time + x1 Part-Time)
• Permanent
• 5 days per week (two weeks of 07:45 – 16:15 and one week of 10:00-18:30
• Salary range £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
• To start ASAP
• No Out of Hours
• Saturday mornings 1:3 rota.
• CPD allowance of £500 per annum.
• Professional memberships: RCVS, VDS

To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the advertised position should your application not meet the employer requirements.

• Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university in the country of the advertised position.
• Up to date CPD
• Relevant language skills.
• Licenced to provide veterinary care in the relevant country.
• Any other relevant requirements for the job.
