Senior/ Lead Veterinary Surgeon - North West London
• Excellent Salary; Up to £75,000
• Located in North West London near Hampstead Heath
• 4- day week
• 1 in 3 Saturday with TOIL and No OOH
• 20–30-minute consults
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well renowned independent practice in North West London with a supportive team who prides themselves on the high standard of care they provide.
With 20 – 30-minute consultations, the team are able to prioritise providing an excellent quality of care and clinical thoroughness. Client relationships are of high importance in this clinic, with an individual approach to each client and pet.
You will play a key role in leading and managing the team, ensuring high standards of care are always delivered.
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 5 years of small animal practice experience, who is passionate about veterinary medicine with a drive for providing gold standard client care.
You will lead the team clinically which will require excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to share knowledge and lead by being a positive example to others.
There is a friendly team in place as well as having the opportunity to work with visiting specialists in cardiology, imaging, and orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
Facilities include:
• Multi-parameter monitoring for ECC cases
• Digital imaging (ultrasound and X-ray)
• Dedicated operating theatre
• State of the art dental suite
• ECG and many more.
• Digital CR dental radiography
• Full in-house lab equipment (IDEXX)
• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy and bronchoscopy
• Tonometry
• Theatre suite
• Four consulting rooms – two for cats and two for dogs
The Role:
• No OOHs
• 1:3 Saturdays with time off in lieu
• 4-day week
