Veterinary Surgeon

Telford is in the heart of Shropshire, just an hour North of Birmingham and an hour and half South of Manchester International Airport. The practice itself is located on Wrekin Retail Park to the North of the town centre, close to the M54 and main bus routes, making it easily accessible for commuting from nearby towns, or Telford itself.

Our current clinical team is made up of 3 vets and 4 nurses who are supported by our team of unflappable receptionists who handle all the front of surgery queries. Within the team we have a surgery certificate holder and another vet working towards his own, so further professional development is encouraged. We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join the team and help further expand our client base and caseload whether you are just starting out your career in veterinary, or if you have bundles of experience that you can offer to the team.

We are ideally looking for a vet to join us on a full-time basis working 5 days per week, with shifts varying between 9am-5pm and 11am-7pm, however we understand how important work/life balance is so we can accommodate part time/school hour rotas if you prefer. At the moment we work Saturdays on a rota basis with the other vets, and this is until 1pm, with time off in the week in lieu, and there is no OOH or Sunday working. There is a mix of consulting and operating every day, however we can consider a consult only position for experienced applicants.
