Here at Purovets we have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon at a small animal practice situated in the historical county of Lanarkshire in Scotland. The role will mainly be focused at a practice in Motherwell although our client does have other practices in the area which you will need to travel to for routine consultations.
Our client has been established in the area for over 40 years and has built up a large and loyal client base within that time. They are dedicated in helping small animals and their owners, providing an exceptional service to all who need it.
They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their 5 Vet team on a full or part time basis. The case load will be a mix of surgery and consults, running at 20 minutes per consult. The main practice located in Motherwell handles a mixture of consultations, basic and complex procedures and is well facilitated with sevo anaesthetic, recently upgraded ultrasound, digital radiography including digital dental radiography and more.
The ideal candidate will have previous veterinary experience and will be able to work some sole charge. You will need to have great customer service skills and a genuine compassion for animal welfare.
The Rota:
- Full time or Part Time role – around 32 hours per week 4 day week 1:5 Saturday mornings (9.30am – 11.30am) Working hours are usually 9.30am – 6pm but 5pm finishes can be likely
