About the role

The Operations team are at the heart of our vet business and the Regional Director is responsible for delivering our strategic plan for our pet care eco system. The Regional Director delivers our ways of working, the effectiveness of our people and the way we do things to influence operational excellence within a clinical setting. The Regional Director is both a visible leader of the vet business operations as well as a highly collaborative team player within the broader leadership team. The Regional Director supports the Operations Director in driving a consumer focussed mindset across practice teams to best serve the pet and pet owner whilst working in partnership with our Joint Venture Partners (JVPs), ensuring that we make the most of their unique capabilities, skills and experience.



​J VPs are at the heart of our unique operating model and s uccess in this business comes from our JVPs individual businesses being successful. The Regional Director role is instrumental in managing practice performance alongside recognising the specific challenges of individual partners and their unique circumstances.



​ Alongside leading the ARM team in their region, the Regional Director needs to work hand in hand with all key stakeholders to ensure decision making and its impact is understood across the broader business and alignment of consumer objectives balanced with JVP success is always at the centre of decision making.

About your experience

As a proven senior leader in a multi-site service led operation environment, you'll be able to offer a track record of operationalising strategy, delivering successful integration, and building capability. We require an individual who is experienced at leading organisation change and profitable growth in a customer led business.
  • Authentic people-centric leader with experience of communicating at all levels of our pet care business, who can delegate authority and accountability to the team to deliver on operational plans.
  • Be able to showcase best practice of effectiveness thorough standardisation whilst providing a personalised approach.
  • Have an investigative and inquisitive mindset, the ability to enable a global mindset approach for the entire operations team and the ability to consider all angles that affect the success of their business.
  • Has strong commercial knowledge and application
  • Experienced in helping individuals, leaders and teams to continuously improve their ability to meet client needs.
  • Operationalising strategy and implementing plans and change.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence.
  • Relationship led in style and approach.
