Job Details
Are you looking for a new position at a friendly practice in beautiful Cumbria? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at Carlisle Vets4Pets.
Carlisle is located half an hour from the Scottish borders and is under one hour from the Lake District National Park, the ideal location if you enjoy outdoor pursuits and exploring beautiful areas. The practice itself is a standalone practice on the North of River Eden and is well connected to the city via the local bus routes or on foot.
We are ideally looking for a full-time vet working 40 hours per week with no OOH's or weekends. We can also be flexible with hours for the right candidate. We are looking for an experienced vet to join the team but can accommodate and support a new or recent graduate.
We are a tight knit, friendly and supportive team including a surgery certificate holder, three proactive RVN's and support colleagues.
We run 15-minute consults with additional time for paperwork and results. Our nurses also carry out consultations to help with the workload. Our clients are generally friendly, proactive and we also have a good number of insured clients. In practice we have a dedicated operating theatre, digital X-ray/in-house laboratory, a band new ultrasound for abdominal and cardiac scanning and dentistry facilities to help achieve the best client care possible.
We offer a generous CPD allowance and a competitive salary dependent on experience, flexible rota, exclusive company discounts and rewards, with all professional memberships paid.
For more information, or to apply, please contact Lily at lily.brown@vets4pets.com
