Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys consulting?
White Lodge Veterinary Surgery, based in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the coast on our doorstep, has an exciting opportunity for an Consulting RVN to join our team. You will be an important member of our clinical team, with a commitment to promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement and clinical excellence.
Our practice prides itself on being a part of the local community and is staffed by a friendly, vibrant team. We are an RCVS training practice and have 5 other RVN's, two student veterinary nurses and a patient care assistant. We invest in our team and encourage our colleagues to pursue their professional interests so that everyone has the opportunity to develop their career.
As Consulting RVN duties will include puppy and kitten vaccinations, wound management, health checks, worming and flea control, micro-chipping, post-operative checks, nail clipping, pre/post neutering advice, weight management plans, and life stage health checks. This is a full time role working 40 hours a week although part time hours would be considered. There are no OOH duties. There is currently a 1 in 5 Saturday mornings till 1pm (TBC).
