Registered Veterinary Nurse required at Cliffe Vets, Lewes

The Role

If working as a part of a supportive team within a sort after practice in its local area is important to you, then Cliffe Vets in Lewes could be your ideal workplace. With a fantastic opportunity for an RVN to join their reputable and friendly team, now is your chance!

The role would be working part time covering 3 days a week, fixed days of Monday, Tuesday, and Friday but flexibility would be appreciated. Shifts would be 9 hours with OOH 1 every 2 weeks, 1 in 8 Friday night/Saturday morning and 1 in 8 Saturday/Sunday on call.

Your working day as an RVN at Cliffe Vets will be varied covering duties such as kennels, prep, theatre, consults, reception, and branch surgery cover, which is shared equally between all nurses. This opportunity will allow for great clinical exposure and lots of opportunities for professional growth!

Salary

  • The salary for this role is up to £28,000 per annum FTE depending on experience.
  • Welcome bonus of £1,000 for the successful RVN

About Us

Cliffe Veterinary Group is a large mixed practice with dedicated small animal, farm & equine departments. We are a progressive, well-equipped (TTA, ASIF, laparoscopy, digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound/doppler, etc). RCVS accredited practice with a varied surgical and medical caseload. We have a full-time laboratory technician who will run a very large range of diagnostics “in-house” to provide an exceptional level of care for our patients. We are located in the vibrant, historic market town of Lewes, just 10 miles from Brighton.

About the Team and Culture

Our small animal team comprises 10 Vets, 11 Nurses, and support staff. We are a friendly and diverse team, with several of us who have been here for many years. This is an opportunity to live and work in a beautiful area in the South Downs with great transport links to London and Gatwick.
