Basildon Vets4Pets
We're looking for an Out of Hours Vet to join our Out of Hours team at Vets4Pets Basildon.
Your work pattern will be 7 nights ON and 14 OFF, so if you are looking for great work/life balance this could be the job for you! The shift will start at 7.30pm and finish at 8.30am.
We are looking for quality applicants and will offer this position to an assertive, enthusiastic out of hour's vet who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
In return we commit to remaining a handsomely rewarding and supportive business, we pride ourselves in being able to pay our team members above standard industry rates, and salary will be dependent on experience.
In addition, we offer private medical insurance, robust pension schemes, comprehensive sickness benefits as well as 20% discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home and the Groom Room, access to discounts and cashbacks and in-house career development opportunities.
Its exciting times for us as a 24 hour RCVS accredited hospital, as we have recently expanded our services to enable us offer MRI, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation with enhanced suites for infection control, exotics, cat and dog wards .
This is in addition to our existing services which include CT, cardiology, endoscopy, exotics, orthopaedics, and ophthalmology as well as laser therapy.
We are also 30 mins by train into London as well as direct transport links to Southend and Stanstead airports. as well as being 25 minutes' drive to the seaside.
No two nights are the same here as Basildon Vets4pets also provides OOH/ECC for 4 other Vets4Pets practices as well as an independent vet practice in the region so our caseload is large and varied. We are a lovely, friendly team with great communication, management, clinical support and we work to gold standard. You would be joining an established dedicated night team of 2 qualified nurses and a VCA on each night shift.
