GVC are providing recruitment support to a large veterinary group who are actively recruiting for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon based in Liverpool.

The Role:

Join an independent state-of-the-art purpose-built surgery, light and spacious and equipped with the latest technology as a key member of the team, delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service. You’ll be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon (minimum 2 years' UK experience) to provide clinical excellence and first-class care to patients and exceptional, unrivalled, 5-star service to clients, with the support from the new Head Vet, who is currently studying for a certificate in opthamology.

It's an exciting time to join, the group are currently investing heavily in new technology and have recently upgraded their ultrasound technology with a long-term plan to install a CT scanner. Therefore, you’ll be an excellent all-round GP, and preferably with an interest in surgery and/or imaging.

Applicant requirements:
 
To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the role by showing:
 

• Minimum of two years' UK experience
• Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university recognised in the UK
• Relevant language skills – English
• Licenced to provide veterinary care in the UK – RCVS registered
• Right to work in the UK
