Job Details

GVC are providing recruitment support to a large veterinary group who are actively recruiting for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon based in Staffordshire.

Join a fantastic team delivering high standard first opinion consulting and operating/ investigatory works at this five-site mixed animal practice established for over 70 years ago, serving Staffordshire and the surrounding counties in the Midlands. Their small animal, large animal and equine departments run separately from each other, and have designated teams at each of the practices. Their largest site is a busy, purpose-built practice offering a varied and exciting caseload. It is well equipped with Laparoscopy, ultrasound, flexible endoscopy, ophthalmic surgical microscope, dental x-ray, in house lab and much more. Two of their smaller practices were also refurbished in 2018/2019 offering light and spacious working environments with ultrasound, digital xray, operating theatres, lab machines and separate dog/cat wards.

The Benefits:

• Salary up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• 4x 10-hour days (08.00-18.30 with 30min lunch)
• Equal share of Saturday rota (approx. 1:3-1:4 with lieu time within following week)
