AMAH is seeking emergency veterinarians to join our growing hospital to provide 24hrs service (the shifts can be night only or rotating day and night) and junior veterinarians who wish to further develop their skills in diagnostics and surgeries with experience veterinarians and specialists. At AMAH, we aim to provide quality, professional, affordable, and obtainable veterinary service for our clients, and we are hoping to recruit more like-minded colleagues to join. We also truly value our staff and will actively provide support and maintain a positive working environment.

AMAH is a brand-new clinic started in February 2023 and is located in the heart of Hong Kong. Currently, with over 10 senior veterinarians, including 4 registered specialists, and we are looking for more like-minded colleagues.  Spearheaded by a couple of dedicated veterinarians and Dr. Mak Chi Kin Phillip, the founder of Peace Avenue Veterinary Clinic (PAVC) in 1985.  PAVC has conducted 3 American and European residency programs.  All 3 candidates had been certified diplomates of American or European colleges.  Dr. Mak and one of the specialists are the principals of the AMAH hospital. 

EC Healthcare, a leading healthcare service provider in Asia, is supporting this project in all aspects, including marketing, information technology, customer service, and financial management.  

 The hospital has GE’s new high-end medical imaging equipment, including in-house 1.5T MRI, CT, Digital X-ray, Logic E10s, and Vivid E95 ultrasound equipment.

 All facilities, including four sterile surgical theaters, recovery and intensive wards, chemo room, dental suites, and isolation wards, are designed according to the AAHA standard and the Fear Free concept. 

 AMAH's long-term mission is to provide quality veterinary care and training programs for its staff.  These include internship and residency programs for veterinarians.

 Hong Kong has undergone a metamorphosis and has remained a safe, stable, and harmonious city.  The economic and geographical advantages persist in Hong Kong.

 Overseas applicants, vet specialists from Europe and North America who have lived in Hong Kong for over 10 years are handy for some advice.  Their first-hand experience in Hong Kong will help the applicants better understand various aspects such as the culture, the standard of life, taxation and the working environment, etc.  We also support applying for professional registration and work visas in Hong Kong.
