Buchan Veterinary Clinic have an opportunity for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon. All experience levels welcome to apply, from recent grads to experienced Vets. Salary ranging from £40k - £60k DOE. Relocation packages up to £5k available. Visa costs supported. Any costs associated with current employment can also be supported. Full / Part time and Flexible working options available. Accommodation also available.

We are based in the North East of Scotland where castles, beaches, mountains, golfing, sailing and dolphins are all available within an hour's drive of the practice. Our practice is well connected to travel links, Aberdeen airport is only a short drive away!

The position would cater to a clinician looking for true mixed practice with an equal caseload between companion and large animal. Our farm services are expanding and we see a number of equines. We pride ourselves in providing top quality first opinion care, and want to ensure you have the training and equipment necessary to practice to a high standard. Buchan Vets have three well equipped practices in central location. Both sites have access to the modern diagnostics you would expect from a progressive small animal practice including blood analysers, ultrasound, endoscopy and radiography. We have a structured diary set up that allows for time to be spent developing care plans.

With an even balance of consulting and operating there are plenty of opportunities to hone your skills in which ever area you wish. Our vets have a wide breadth of experience, with one completing a surgical certificate. We also see a number of exotic pets and wildlife cases. We have an experienced, supportive and enthusiastic nursing team that support our clinicians and run nurse clinics routinely. As part of a wider veterinary group we have routine access to advanced surgical, dental and clinical support.
