Veterinary Surgeon positions at our Buckhurst Hill Hospital in Essex

After recent growth we are looking for dedicated Veterinary Surgeons who strive to provide the best level of care for all our patients and their owners.

History

Our Buckhurst Hill Hospital was one of the first practices in the UK to earn Veterinary Hospital Status!

The Hospital was established in Buckhurst Hill in 1968 and was granted Veterinary Hospital status by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons back in 1969. We were one of the first practices in the United Kingdom to earn this privilege.

Responsibilities

Duties of our Vets include but not limited to:

• The assessment of all cases, formulating and implementing preventative, diagnostic and treatment plans as appropriate.

• All treatment is carried out in accordance with practice protocols.

• To ensure the clinical team maintains regular communication with clients regarding case progress and clients are advised of case costs and informed consent is given.

• Complete clinical records are maintained including correct and complete charging out of goods and services.

• To work alongside and delegate tasks as required with other clinical and support staff

Buckhurst Hill is on the central line, so we are in a great location for associates to travel into central London after work for a drink with friends or much needed retail therapy.
