Rees (Warrington)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a small animal vet to join our amazing teams at Rees & All Creatures Veterinary Centres, on a 12 month maternity cover contract, starting June 2023.
Our small animal surgeries, based in Warrington, are welcoming and professional. We have a well-established, progressive team of 7 qualified Vets, a highly experienced Nursing team of 9and support staff across both sites. We offer the highest level of patient and client care to ensure that we deliver an extraordinary service every day.
We have an extensive range of facilities and equipment, which are maintained to high standards to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible working conditions for our staff. We support and encourage our veterinary surgeons and nurses to develop their professional knowledge and are an approved training practice, keeping the whole practice up to date with current developments in the veterinary field. We offer our Vets a supportive and caring environment to work within and a great work-life balance too!
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication skills who strives to deliver first class client care and take ownership of their cases. A team player with a passion for diagnostic work ups and established general surgery skills. You will be required to work across both sites, which have great motorway links, making it ideal for commuting. We will also welcome applications from New Graduate Vets too.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, over 4 or 5 days and will also include working 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. We can also consider part-time hours, if preferred, as we believe in offering flexible working options. There are no on-call duties as cover is provided by Petmedics.
Salary range is £32k - £50k pro rata, depending on experience.
We know that benefits are key, and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others. Holidays, pensions, discounts, paternal leave, fee payments or share save schemes might be your priority. Flexible working is essential for others, and we are very open to finding a creative working pattern that suits. For clinical staff, CPD is probably critical. Just so you know we offer a wide range of amazing CPD – you'll have access to Knowledge Hub, the best online veterinary learning resource within the industry - and we also offer an allowance to spend on external courses too. If you'd like to learn more, do feel free to contact the recruiter managing this campaign and ask them to talk you through our offerings. Or, if easier, you can find a list at on our careers site CVS Employee Benefits- what we can offer you. (cvsukltd.co.uk)
