The Practice:

GVC are recruiting for a brand new veterinary start-up, with a focus on technology and improving the pet owner experience. Our client our opening their first veterinary clinic in Hertforshire, looking to use the success from their telemedicine app to launch into the clinic setting.

Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is looking for a role where you are truly valued as a key member of the team and looking for flexibility when it comes to remote working? Then, we have the role you’ve been looking for! Having the balance between working from home, triaging patients over the phone and giving your knowledgeable advice to utilizing your clinical skills in practice to support the great clinical team, you really will have the best of both worlds. Our clients are happy to combine in-clinic days with remote working days, to deliver the schedule that works for you.

The practice has all the most advanced equipment you would expect in a purpose-built surgery which has been updated as they continue to grow and expand their team and caseload.

Our client are stepping out of digital and into physical pet care, with the launch of their first clinic in Hertfordshire. A brand new state of the art practice, designed with pets and vet teams in mind. They're a technology led company, so you’ll have all the usual gadgets and then some. From scales built into the waiting room floor, to digital stethoscopes, to a booking system that notices when your team is running behind and reschedules appointments so you all clock off on time. Working in sync with their telemedicine app, and with an incredible in-clinic support team, the aim is to make sure you can do the job you love to the full extent of your training. After all, happy vets & nurses = happy pets!  

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum three years experience in general practice
  • RCVS registered or eligible
  • Confidence with routine nurse clinics, anaesthesia & in-patient care
  • A real passion for pet care
  • Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university in the country of the advertised position.
  • Up to date CPD
  • Relevant language skills.
  • Right to work in the UK
