Veterinary Surgeon
Droitwich Vets4Pets
Droitwich Vets4Pets is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our team of wonderful people. This position is for an experienced vet, confident in all routine surgery and consults of the day to day of a Small Animal practice. This position has some sole charge, and is for a full-time vet, but if you're looking for a part-time role or even for flexible hours contact us. We want to help you achieve your goals and the work-life balance you deserve.
Droitwich Vets4Pets is proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic, with a Silver ISFM status; equipped with a digital X-ray, a dental X-ray machine to help raise the standard of dental treatments, an ultrasound machine and an inhouse lab. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside an exceptional team: 1 full-time experienced vet and 2 part-time vets, supported by a team of 3 full-time RVNs, 1 Animal Care Assistant, 2 full-time and 1 part-time CCAs, and a practice manager. Our Practice Manager Andy operates a ‘the door is always open' policy and was a finalist at the Pet Plan Veterinary Awards.
We're here to help you get the life-balance you desire and to achieve your professional goals. For that we offer an open conversation about this role's rota, if you're going to be full-time, part-time, or even on a flexible hour role. Additionally, we offer a generous CPD allowance up to certificate level to make sure you achieve your full potential as a vet.
With a genuine emphasis on flexibility and wellbeing, the practice is closed on Sundays, only working Saturday mornings; we have time blocked off to give you time to catch up with your notes and calls, we have slots saved for the day, to give the best treatment to all emergencies of the day, and, to top it all up, we close at 6PM.
We're located in the wonderful town of Droitwich Spa, less than an hour from Centre Birmingham, half an hour from Birmingham airport and with the Cotswolds right around the corner.
Benefits we offer:
(Please note this list is not exhaustive and we welcome questions at interview)
If we sound like the kind of team you'd like to be part of and you're looking for the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you. To arrange a confidential, informal conversation please contact Laura via email on laura.holroyd@vets4pets.com or apply below.
