Kirkby Vets

We have an exciting opportunity for a small animal vet to join our growing vet team at Kirkby Vets. We are a busy single site RCVS Accredited first opinion practice, based in Liverpool, with a passion and dedication to providing the highest quality of care.

As we continue to grow, so do our resources. We have brand new echocardiography enabled ultrasound, dental and diathermy machines. We also have an in house laboratory to assist our vets in providing rapid response treatment.

You will have the opportunity to work with a busy and varied caseload and the role will include a mix of consults and operations. You will be supported by a friendly, supportive and very experienced team, which includes – 2 Vets, 4 RVN's and a fantastic support team.

We are looking for a Vet who is confident with routine surgery and consults and comfortable working sole charge. There is scope to move into a Head Vet role, if you are looking to take the next step in your career.

You will work 40 hours per week, over 4 days and also 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, but we will consider part-time hours, for the right candidate. There are no OOH's in this role, offering a great work-life balance.
