Chestergates Veterinary Specialists – Rotating Internship – Chester

Starting March/April 2023 for 12 months

We are a diploma-led multidisciplinary referral centre with a wide range of specialities. The ideal applicants would be recent graduates with at least one year of clinical experience and an ambition to pursue a specialist career path. Recent interns have been successful with applications for further training positions (both to residency programmes and discipline specific internships). With the support of our Specialists, the vast majority of our previous interns have published and/or presented research nationally or internationally.

The successful candidates will need to be registered with the RCVS.

The internships include:

• Time spent in each of our disciplines – soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and spinal surgery, anaesthesia internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and cardiology.
• Supportive learning environment
• Exposure to emergency primary care with our out-of-hours team
• CPD (£1000, 5 days)
• Salary £32,000

Excellent facilities and location with beautiful countryside nearby and easy access to Liverpool and Manchester. Two international airports close by.
