Busy, well equipped, family feel 3 branch practice seeking a Senior RVN to join our expanding team

The Role:

Motivated and positive RVN to lead the nursing team within our Headington practice, to include but not limited to
  • Advocating and driving nurse consults and clinics
  • Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice
  • Supporting and coaching our SVN's
  • Being a point of contact for the nursing team
  • Ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment

This role would be working shifts of either 8-5 or 10-7, 5 days a week or 8-7, 4 days a week. Other hours/days and part time applications may be considered. We currently work one in four Saturdays from 8.30 to 5pm, with time in lieu offered, no Sundays and bank holidays on a rotation basis (less than one a year, with pay and TOIL offered).

About Us:

We are a Tier 2 RCVS Accredited and ISFM Silver Certificated 3 branch practice based in and around the beautiful city of Oxford. All 3 sites are training practices. We are well equipped, offering aseptic theatres, multi-parameters, bair huggers, x-ray, ultrasound and dentistry at all 3 branches. We also offer laparoscopic procedures and orthopaedics from out Kidlington branch, alongside a visiting Cardiac Specialist and Physiotherapist. Our team have interests in exotic pets and reptiles, hold medical, surgical, acupuncture and behaviour certificates and other interests are fully encouraged.

About You:

We are looking for someone reliable and ambitious with excellent communication, patient and client care standards, that has great attention to detail. This role would suit an RVN who is ready to take a step up in responsibility or an experienced Senior/Lead or Head Nurse looking for a better work/life balance.
